Conference to examine global reach of the North’s media companies

The research project has been supported by the BBC, MIDAS, Creative England and UKFast, and has identified over 250 creative and media companies in the North that are owned by a global organisations or have overseas operations.

Last week it was confirmed that Dominic Allon, a director of Google UK, will be joining the speakers at the conference. Other speakers include Ian Haythornthwaite (CFO of BBC North), Rob Morrice (CEO of SteinIAS), Margaret Hicks-Clarke (Head of Operations, Press Association), Alex Connock (Director of Shine TV), and Rob Shaw (CEO of Epiphany).

The free half day conference is aimed at companies featured in the research and those which have overseas sales or those considering opening an overseas office. You can register for a ticket on Eventbrite here.
