BBC moves Sport interactive editor to Breakfast team

BBC BreakfastStuart Rowson, who was one of the first people to make the move to MediaCityUK in 2001, is being loaned out to the BBC Breakfast team.

Currently BBC Sport’s interactive editor, the father of three has been responsible for all content across its several digital platforms: web, mobile, app, red button including digitext, IPTV and social media.

He led and planned BBC Sport’s interactive Olympic coverage which brought in a record-breaking audience of 10m global users per day. Prior to joining BBC Sport, Rowson was the editor of BBC Look North in Hull, having previously worked as the sports editor at the Hull Daily Mail and the Grimsby Town reporter for the Grimsby.

He will be the deputy editor at BBC Breakfast for six months.
