MediaCityUK is driving a major change in the broadcasting sector

The success of MediaCityUK is encouraging more people to head to Manchester and Salford, rather than London to progress their careers.

That’s the view of Patrick Steel, the head of commercial at Dock 10.

Speaking exclusively to Prolific North, he said there never had been a lack of talent in the region, but the growth of the sector, through MediaCityUK, The Sharp Project and The Space Project was bringing increasing numbers of new and established broadcast professionals to the North West.
